Malaysia Airlines and Royal Air Maroc Launch Codeshare Partnership

Malaysia Airlines and Royal Air Maroc have signed a strategic codeshare agreement designed to enhance global connectivity and deliver a more seamless travel experience across Africa, Europe and Asia.

Expanded connectivity across three continents

Effective immediately, the new partnership allows passengers to benefit from greater flexibility and improved access across both airlines’ networks. The agreement strengthens cooperation between the two flag carriers within the oneworld alliance and expands travel options between key regions.

Codeshare routes and flight coverage

Under the agreement, Malaysia Airlines will place its MH flight code on Royal Air Maroc-operated services between Casablanca and Doha, London and Paris. In return, Royal Air Maroc will add its AT code on Malaysia Airlines flights operating between Kuala Lumpur and Doha, London and Paris.

This provides passengers with smoother connections via major hubs such as Kuala Lumpur and Casablanca, while routes like Kuala Lumpur – Doha benefit from expanded codeshare coverage.

Strengthening Asia–Africa travel demand

The collaboration supports growing travel demand between Asia and Africa by optimising network synergies and extending each airline’s reach beyond its own operated flights. Passengers gain access to a broader range of destinations and more convenient connections across continents.

oneworld alliance benefits

As members of the oneworld alliance, both airlines offer customers access to a global network of more than 900 destinations worldwide. The partnership reinforces the alliance’s value proposition, delivering consistent service standards and enhanced connectivity for international travellers.
